New watch brand Xetum has just gone live and presents two models to start – the Tyndall and Stinson watch lines. Xetum is a new brand to watch making industry. It creates two models which are the first model in Tyndall and Stinson watch lines respectively. The two lines are named after two places in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the headquarter of the brand. But the watches are in fact made in Swiss.
Both Tyndall and Stinson models are done in stainless steel and size at 40 mm. The cases sports a nice contrast between fine brushed and polished finishes. And the cases looks extremely clean without lugs. And the leather straps are seamlessly connected to case. All watch crowns are engraved with theb brand’s e hexagonal logo. And both models come with various dial colors option for choosing from.
The Xetum Tyndall watch houses an automatic ETA 2895-2 movement which is revealed by the display case back. And this watch sports the brand’s accessible modern design. The dial is clean and highly legible without having the overly sparse look that many minimalist watches have.
The Xetum Stinson is powered by with an ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. It has a centrally mounted seconds hand, while the the Tyndall model features a a subsidiary seconds dial at 6’clock position.
