People come, and go, never stay long, I mean, in watch making world. Few months ago, Yvan Arpa lost his job as the CEO OF Romain Jerome. We, Watch Impression, also posted this news. Very bad though, Yvan Arpa at least got some compensation from the stupid board of Romain Jerome by winning his suit against it. Following, Manuel Emch who had been dedicated to the development of Manuel Emch, one of the Swatch Group owned watch brands, was forced to resign. Now news comes that Romain Jerome has appointed Manuel Emch as their new CEO. I wonder that if Yvan Arpa will replace the post of Manuel Emch used to be. Better not. Otherwise, history may repeat again and he may end up with leaving . At least now, Yvan Arapa seems to focus on karate rather than watch making though he recently created the black belt watch exclusively for world’s black belt owners.
It is Yvan Arpa who made Romain Jerome what it is today. And Romain Jerome famous for edgy designs seemed to run out of talent after stupidly getting Yvan Arpa ousted. And now they perhaps makes a correct decision to put Manuel Emch into the CEO position as this young and determined man may lead the company in similar manner as Yvan Arpa.
Manuel Emch will officially take the office and direct the distinct watch company on January 1, 2010. Hope he is ready to bringing amazing changes and new products after several-month holiday season.
