Swiss watch maker Chopard has welcomed its 150th Anniversary. To celebrate this great event, this brand specially launched the Mille Miglia Speed Black Power Control that is powered by ETA A07.161-a COSC-certified automatic movement.breitling replica watches
The watch, with a 44mm Black DLC coated steel case, features an eye-catching dial that sports a beautiful orange-on-black color scheme. To give the dial a neat look, Chopard has abandoned the huge Arabic numeral “12” and removed the small “1000 Miglia” from the 3 o”clock position. The only complaint on the dial is the date window. Covered by a magnifying lens though, the numerals on the date wheel are smaller than those on the minute chapter.
The watch come with two strap options-the line’s iconic rubber strap with tire pattern and a black calf leather strap. My vote goes to the latter as it features matching orange stitching and is very easy to put on and take off.
At the official release conference, Chopard just stated that this watch housed an automatic movement,without revealing more details. And I believe it is the ETA A07.161 which is a perfect mechanism for watches of similar style. The movement, featuring a Etachron regulator is able to deliver 46-hour power reserve.
Though the movement is just 36.6mm wide and 7.9mm high, Chopard provides it a case that is 44 mm in diameter and 14.2 mm in height to ensure it has ample space. The large, in perfect proportion, looks very nice on the wrist.
According to Chopard, the Mille Miglia Speed Black Power Control watch will be strictly limited to 150 pieces and is exclusively available at the the Hour Glass network of boutiques located in Singapore.
