Another breathtaking feast for eyes is presented throught the sapphire crystal fitted at the case back secured by six screws. The mechanism, connected to the mainspring barrel like a tiny bicycle chain, has two main functions. The consistency of the power release is achieved thanks to the fact that the fusee chain is wound around a cone shaped cylinder which winds at a different rate. Secondly, the fusee chain assists to ensure the safe winding of the main spring.
