The Only Watch 2009 is coming very close on September 24. Corum has shown its support to this philanthropic auction by creating the Ti-Bridge watch animated by the CO 007 movement that is independently design, developed and assembled by Corum house.
As the name suggests, the watch is mainly crafted from titanium. Sized at 42.5 mm by 41.5 mm The iconic tonneau-shaped is made from Grade 5 with polished finish on the top. And the case features two sand-blasted grooves and rubber sides. The fluted titanium crown is adorn with the Corum key symbol in a in a raspberry pink color applique. The satin finished case back is held together by 6 screws and receives satin finished. It Ii engraved with the Corum logo and PIECE UNIQUE wording and alto the a famous quote from Antoine de St-Exupéry taken from the book “Le Petit Prince” that says: “Les enfants seuls savent ce qu’ils cherchent”- Only children know what they are looking for”
Oviously, the CO 007 movement is inspried by the Golden Bridge caliber. The movement with 21 jewels, crafted from Titanium, boasts a frequency of 18,800 VPH and a 72-hour pour reserve. It is fixed inside the case by a set of two titanium cross bars that are black PVD-coated. The upper bridge is engraved with the “Corum” be. The bridges are satin-finished while the barrel is snail finished. As the watch is fitted with sapphire crystal at both side, you have a three-dimensional view of this unique movement.
The Ti-Bridge watch displays hours and minutes only. It comes with a special black crocodile strap with raspberry pink hand stitching and a second strap in black rubber. The straps are secured to the wrist by a titanium triple folding clasp with opening and fastening system using 2 pushers, bearing the Corum logo
