And I believe, if RW USA does good job and all the above measures go smooth, Raymond Weil will sure have a better market presence than what it has now and leave many watch brands far behind.

In my humble, opinion, the watch marks the brand’s catch-up with the A. Lange & Sohne that is considered by many as the best luxury watch brand in Germany.

Tissot Launches PRC 200 Automatic Chronograph with ETA C01.211

Swass famous watch brand Tissot has launched the PRC 200 Automatic Chronograph which owns the collection’s iconic charaters-Precise, Robust and Classic. And it is powered by the Swiss ETA C01.211, the latest automatic chronograph movement based on the famous plastic movement 2250 used by Tissot Astrolon and the Swatch discontinued Lemania 5100 automatic movement. Sized at 31mm and 8.44mm thick, ETA C01.211 is composed of 184 components and 15 jewels –the core compoments are re made from composite. It provides date and chronograph. It beats at 21,600vph and has a 45-power reserve.Compared with the original Valjoux 7750 movement, ETA C01.211 has much less components, which allows large-scale production on smaller cost. On the other hand, the mechanical wear dramatically decreases due to the small amount of components. Thus, the precision of watch is further enhance. Through the display case back, the wearer can enjoy mechnical beauty of this high-efficient movement.

The case of PRC 200 Automatic Chronograph reflects the classic designs of the collection. Tissot designer has simplified the bezel to enlarge the dial and enhance the reading. The case and the bezel is done is stainless steel, while the dial, vailable in black or white, features asymmetry design-the small seconds counter at 9 is largest, contrasting the date window at 3, and the 6-hour and 60-minute counters are smaller. The asymmetry design presents distinctive aesthetics on the dial .Both the hour markers and hands are coated with luminous materials to ensure reading in any place. In addition, PRC 200 Automatic Chronograph offers both split and cumulative accurate to 1/10 second.

PRC 200 Automatic Chronograph is water resistant to 200 meters thanks to the screw-in crown and the case backe. The stainless steel with butterfly buckle is fitted with diver’s extension that allows the diver to wear the watch on the diving suit.

Queen’s Road consists of four sections including ueen’s Road West, Queen’s Road Central, Queensway and Queen’s Road East. And the Queen’s Road Central is where the Audemars Piguet Carlson Boutique located. Recentlly, Audemars Piguet created a special editon watch for Carlson Boutique named Royal Offshore Queen’s Road.

The special edition watch featuring the “Queen’s Road” engraving on the case back at the case back, is limited to 100 pieces with unit price of HK$203,000, and will be available exclusively in the Carlson Boutique in Hong Kong or in Hong Kong, I am afaid.

Beating inside the titanium case is the Calibre 3126/3840 that offers chronographs, hours, minutes, small seconds and date. The dial features balck “Mega Tapisserie” pattern, red numerals/hands/ tachometric scale around the flange, and white chronograph hand.The color contrast is very impressive but not that beautiful as I expect. Also we have brand-new material combination-the watch crown and pushers are coated black rubber.

New Hublot Watch – Hublot Big Bang Gold Watch

I have to say, I am almost done with Hublot. It seems that they just make the most of and keep living on the succuss of the Big Bang watch line began from several years ago. Neither they make big changes on the classic model, nor they have imagination on names of watches. In recent years, they always play games of colors, materials and cooperative models with the racing world or the sailing games. And that is all. I have never seen a big change that can lighten up my eyes and touch my heart. I am so tired of Hublot watches that I feel sleepy and boring even before this new Hublot Big Bang Gold Watch-Look, how silly the name is. It seems that Hublots even has no time to think about the name things.

Ok, I see something new on this new Hublot watch but I feel I have no mood to tell them as they are too slight to deserve my words. Well the Hublot Big Bang Gold Watch does have something gold-the same 44.5mm case is done in 18k rose gold and water resistant to 100 meters.The “iconic” material combination(rubber and titanium ) exists at same places, such as case inserts, surface of crown and push-pieces, screws and the strap. Beating inside the watch is the fine decorated HUB4100 featuring a th a tungsten carbide automatic rotor in black PVD. The dial is not half bad and even in excellent condition either in layout, design or style. But only this is not enough to be a “new” brilliant model.

Hope other people will still crazy about Hublot watches (Not like me), and then Hublot can continue its good days. I will not spend money on a brand that has no soul to innovation. And I even think about encouraging people to buy replica Hublot watches to let go my angry and disppointment.

Best Women’s Watch 2009 Asia- Richard Mille RM 019 Tourbillon

Since I (me from Asia, female )am not that into Richard Mille watches, I am very surprised at the news that Richard Mille RM 019 Tourbillon watch was voted as the Best Women’s Watch in Asia, correction, in Singapore, where the where the Asia Edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève was held this year.

As a normal women, I swear I will not choose Richard Mille RM 019 Tourbillon as my daily watch, no mention the word “favorite”. It may bear all merits of Richard Mille watches, but it feels not feminine at all, and it is not practical to use. I think women who gave it votes must like the exquisite Celtic knot design with diamonds and the exceptional plate in onyx, the only elements that I find are interesting on this watch. I admit that some women may love the overall design of the watch. But are these women capable of representing Asia?.In a word, the Singaporean were crazy and made the vote crazy.

Well I have never questioned Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève that has awarded Richard Mille for several times. But this time, I do question. The Best Women’s Watch 2009, Asian, is not the best candidate in my mind. And I believe the mainstream will agree with me.

Longines 120 anniversary Retrograde watch, as the name suggests, is part of the Longines’ celebration of the 120th anniversary of longines logo. And the 120 anniversary Retrograde pictured is limited to 120 pieces with individual number.

Judging from appearance, this Longines 120 anniversary Retrograde watch is part of Longines master collection as it has many in common with the longines L2.716.8.78.3 and L2.717.8.78.3(hereinafter refer to as L2) -the lastet models in this well-received collection. They have the same case structure and the same layout of the dial. But still there are some differences : Longines 120 anniversary Retrograde watch has Roman numerals and beautiful smooth dial(while L2 features Arabic numerals and “barleycorn” pattern on the dial, ), and has the winged hourglass, part of Longines trademark , removed from the dial and engraved in the case back, leaving the name of Longines there. When it comes to the case back, Longines 120 anniversary Retrograde watch has other elegant engravings to show the theme of this watch, while L2 have sapphire crystal display case back.

Thanks to the highly complexautomatic movement that features 28,800 vph frequency and 46-hour pour reserve, the dial has three retrograde hands that indicate day at 12, date on the right side and 24 hour second time zone at left hand. Sized at 44mm, the rose gold case receives refined finished and is fitted with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and and alligator strap with triple deployment clasp. Longines 120 anniversary Retrograde is water resistant to 30 meters.
